This is an excellent opportunity for someone with compliance experience within insurance, consumer credit, mortgages or a wider FCA-regulated environment who is looking to broaden their exposure, develop their consulting skills and work with a diverse range of clients.

The Role: You'll work alongside an experienced team, supporting FCA-regulated firms across the credit and insurance sectors with a wide range of compliance and regulatory matters. The role offers a mix of technical compliance work, client interaction, report writing and project-based activity, providing excellent exposure to different businesses, regulatory challenges and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting FCA authorisation applications and regulatory projects.
  • Reviewing policies, procedures and client documentation.
  • Assisting clients with regulatory and compliance queries.
  • Preparing audit, review and compliance reports.
  • Conducting compliance reviews and client visits.
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and industry changes.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted point of contact.
  • Supporting wider consulting projects across the credit and insurance sectors.

We're keen to speak with individuals who have:

  • Experience within a compliance, risk or regulatory role in a financial services environment.
  • Exposure to insurance, consumer credit or mortgage regulation.
  • Strong written communication and report-writing skills.
  • The confidence to communicate with stakeholders and clients.
  • A proactive, inquisitive and commercially aware mindset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within compliance consulting.
  • Previous consulting experience would be advantageous but is by no means essential.

What's on Offer?

  • Exposure to a wide range of FCA-regulated firms and projects.
  • A clear development path within a growing consultancy environment.
  • Support and mentoring from experienced compliance professionals.
  • Hybrid working model with a minimum of two days per week in the London office.
  • Competitive benefits package including pension, private medical cover and wellbeing benefits.
  • Collaborative culture with regular team and social events.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to move beyond a traditional in-house compliance role and develop a broader, client-facing consulting career. Applicants must be located and eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
