Adviser Proposition & Transformation Manager

Overview

I am currently supporting a major financial services organisation undergoing a large-scale transformation programme focused on modernising adviser experiences, technology, operating models and client journeys.

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-profile strategic programme that will reshape how financial advice is delivered across a substantial adviser network.

The Opportunity

This role will sit at the intersection of:

• Business transformation

You will help ensure that future-state adviser journeys, business processes and supporting technologies are practical, scalable and aligned to the needs of advisers and clients.

Working closely with advisers, subject matter experts, technology teams and programme stakeholders, you'll play a key role in both designing and embedding new ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert on financial advice processes and adviser operating models.
• Help design future-state adviser and client journeys.
• Gather and translate adviser requirements into practical business solutions.
• Contribute to proposition development and advice process enhancement.
• Ensure adviser and client needs remain central to decision making.

Transformation & Change

• Support delivery of a major business and technology transformation programme.
• Review and validate workflows, servicing models and operating processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and adviser experience.
• Work closely with programme teams to ensure business requirements are translated into effective outcomes.
• Participate in testing, validation and readiness activities.

Readiness & Adoption

• Support the rollout of new processes, systems and ways of working.
• Help advisers understand how change impacts their businesses and clients.
• Provide subject matter expertise into training and adoption activity.
• Gather feedback and support continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build relationships with advisers, business leaders and programme stakeholders.
• Represent adviser perspectives throughout programme delivery.
• Help build engagement and confidence in future-state solutions.
• Influence decision making through practical industry expertise.

We're particularly interested in candidates who have worked within:

• Wealth Management

You will ideally have:

• Strong understanding of end-to-end financial advice processes.
• Experience working directly with financial advisers.
• Understanding of adviser journeys and adviser operating models.
• Experience supporting business change, transformation or operating model initiatives.
• Ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in roles such as:

• Advice Development Manager
• Practice Management Consultant
• Practice Development Consultant
• Advice Process Manager
• Business Readiness Manager
• Advice Quality Manager
• Financial Adviser with significant change or proposition experience

Highly Desirable

• CRM or adviser technology implementation.
• Training, readiness or adoption initiatives.
• Experience working across large adviser populations.
