MERJE are working with a reputable Insurance company who are looking to hire within their Health Insurance Pricing function - with the hire of a Qualified Actuary. As an Actuarial Manager, you will be joining a high performing function that are at the heart of creativity and innovation around the Health insurance sector. You will be contributing and leading tasks around Pricing Strategy and Development based on market conditions and thorough data research.
Within this role, you'll be applying yourself with a number of different analytical tools and softwares. In addition to typical Actuarial softwares, we're looking for those with knowledge and skills in Data Science techniques such as Power BI, Python, SQL. This opportunity provides an excellent long term opportunity if you're looking to enhance your Actuarial career, incorporating the inclusion of more data focused techniques.
We're looking for Qualified Actuaries based in the South of England (2 days a week in the office). You'll come from a Health or General Insurance background - although we will be looking at those in Life Insurance who have worked specifically in Critical Illness / Medical areas.
