Senior Legal Counsel – Investment Banking

MERJE is seeking a talented Senior Legal Counsel for a leading Investment Bank in London.

As Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing high-level legal advice and support across various business units.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide expert legal advice on complex financial transactions and regulatory matters
2. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements
3. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
4. Collaborate with business teams to develop and implement legal strategies
5. Manage and mitigate legal risks across the organisation

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Qualified solicitor with ideally 4-7 years PQE
• In-depth knowledge of investment banking and securities regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Ability to develop relationships at all levels across the business
