An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health Safety Advisor to join a growing and highly regarded organisation with a substantial property portfolio across the UK. Reporting to the Director of Health Safety, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the company's Health Safety Management Systems, promoting a positive safety culture, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and best practice standards. Key Responsibilities Provide professional health and safety advice and guidance to managers and employees across the business. Conduct health and safety inspections, audits and compliance reviews across multiple sites. Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Health Safety Management Systems. Coordinate internal audit programmes and risk management activities. Produce Risk Assessments, Risk and Control Matrices (RACMs) and process mapping documentation. Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented. Support RIDDOR reporting requirements and maintain accurate incident records. Monitor health and safety compliance data and prepare reports for senior management and committees. Assist with the review and development of health and safety policies and procedures. Coordinate and deliver health and safety training and awareness programmes. Conduct DSE assessments and support workplace wellbeing initiatives. Facilitate health and safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement projects. Promote a proactive and positive health and safety culture throughout the organisation. Candidate Requirements Essential Previous experience in a Health Safety Advisor, Health Safety Coordinator or similar role. Good understanding of Health Safety Management Systems and compliance processes. Experience conducting audits, inspections and risk assessments. Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong organisational and administrative abilities. Experience producing reports, analysing data and maintaining compliance records. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Desirable NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent qualification. Experience within property, facilities management, housing or real estate environments. Knowledge of DSE assessments, contractor management and incident investigation. Membership of IOSH or working towards professional accreditation. What's on Offer?
