ALM Manager - Hedge Management

MERJE are partnered with a leading Building Society in their search for an interim ALM Manager to support with Hedge Management within the Market Risk Team. About the role Working within the Governance, Risk and Control programme. The successful candidate would be responsible for supporting the transformation of hedge management including mortgage pipeline monitoring, and assessment of structural positions and behavioural assumptions. In this role you will be directly responsible for delivering key aspects of the hedge management project, working with colleagues across the Market Risk team, wider Finance function and trading. You will be expected to evaluate and document requirements, deliver management information and make recommendations to support strategic change in market risk management. This role has no line management responsibility but requires significant engagement with others. As a reporting specialist with a working knowledge of hedge management, you\’ll be joining an established team to support the delivery of improvements to the risk management framework. This role would ideally suit someone with a strong risk reporting background who is looking to build on that knowledge into a specialist area of hedge management.
