MERITUS are recruiting for an Engineering Project Manager to join a systems integration business specialising in bespoke solutions for customers in Aerospace, Engineering, FMCG and Agriculture.
You'll manage multiple customer projects from order receipt through to final installation and handover, acting as the key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and Customer Support, you'll ensure customers remain informed, project milestones are achieved and internal teams are aligned to deliver a first-class customer experience. This role combines project management, customer engagement and engineering coordination, with regular travel to customer sites across the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities- Manage engineering projects from order through to installation and final customer handover.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and Customer Support teams to deliver projects successfully.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones and deliverables.
- Organise and lead customer review meetings and progress updates.
- Support manufacturing testing and on-site installation activities.
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
- Travel regularly to customer sites within the UK and internationally.

You'll ideally have:
- Proven experience managing customer-facing engineering or manufacturing projects.
- Experience working with senior customer stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to manage project budgets.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

- Previous experience within an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel regularly throughout the UK and internationally.
