We are supporting a growing aviation maintenance organisation in the appointment of a Compliance Director to lead and expand its compliance function within a Part 145 MRO environment. This is a newly elevated position, created as a result of business growth and increasing operational complexity. The role is highly visible and business critical, with direct influence over regulatory integrity, operational governance, and organisational culture.
Purpose of the Role
To take full ownership of the compliance function, ensuring regulatory adherence while building a scalable, future-ready compliance structure aligned with the company's growth plans. This role is focused on developing and strengthening the function, not simply maintaining it.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the compliance function within a Part 145 approved MRO environment
- Develop and implement a forward-looking compliance strategy aligned with business expansion
- Oversee internal and external audit programmes
- Act as primary point of contact for regulatory authorities
- Provide leadership and direction to the compliance team
- Strengthen governance frameworks, procedures, and reporting mechanisms
- Provide technical compliance guidance to senior leadership
