MERITUS are recruiting for a Manufacturing Project Engineer to join a leading Precision Engineering organisation to support the delivery of high integrity manufacturing projects in Defence, Nuclear and Aerospace sectors.
This role sits within a safety-critical setting and focuses on coordinating engineering activities from contract award through to final delivery, ensuring full alignment with technical, quality, and security requirements. You will play a key role in bringing structure and clarity to project delivery, working closely with customers, internal teams, and supply chain partners to ensure smooth execution and consistent progress against agreed milestones.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage engineering activity across projects from initiation through to completion
- Act as a trusted technical interface between customers, internal teams, and supply chain partners
- Develop and maintain clear project plans, schedules, and progress updates to support delivery visibility
- Support the achievement of milestones on time, within scope, and within budget
- Interpret customer specifications, drawings, and technical requirements with accuracy and care
