MERITUS is recruiting for a BIM Engineer to join our client on a permanent basis to work on exciting new construction projects within Life Sciences and Pharmaceuticals.

BIM Engineer – Bicester, Oxfordshire – Up to £50,000 per annum – Two Stage Interview Process

  • Supporting the pre-construction team with the review of received tender documents (including Works Information, EIR, etc.) to identify clients\’ BIM and digital requirements.
  • Providing technical review of 3D BIM models received at tender stage for federation, engineering checks, clash detection, logistics, and cost management.
  • Supporting the production and delivery of project BEP, MIDP, MPDT, and ensuring internal project teams and external parties are fully aware of their responsibilities.
  • Working with the planning team to develop, coordinate, and deliver 4D BIM models.
  • Developing and coordinating visualizations and interactive 3D models.
  • Leading the DPD kickoff meeting (jointly with the Information Manager) with the project management team to review and finalize the DPD strategy.
  • Supporting and mentoring BIM Engineers as required.

Experience:

  • 5+ years\’ experience working on multi-disciplinary projects with BIM Level 2 requirements.
  • Experience with BIM documentation is crucial for this role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience working with MS Office.
