MERITUS are recruiting for a Supply Officer to join our client within the aerospace manufacturing world in an initial 6 month contract (with very likely extension thereafter).
This position sits within a fast-paced operational supply chain function responsible for managing supplier performance, material availability and supply continuity across a high-volume, highly regulated production environment. The successful candidate will manage supplier relationships, coordinate recovery activities, support operational delivery and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the end-to-end supply chain.
The role requires a commercially aware, data-driven individual with strong stakeholder management capability, experience operating within manufacturing or engineering environments and the ability to coordinate across multiple functions internationally.
Key Responsibilities- Manage supplier performance across a portfolio of operational suppliers within a complex manufacturing environment.
- Monitor and manage supply chain risks, implementing mitigation and recovery plans where required.
- Coordinate demand planning, forecasting and supply prioritisation activities.
- Act as a key interface between operations.
