The Role An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join a rotary-wing operation based in Scotland, working on the H145.
Working a highly attractive 14 on/14 off rotation , you will be responsible for carrying out and certifying aircraft maintenance within the scope of your company authorisations, supporting both the engineering and day-to-day operational requirements of the aircraft.
Duty periods run between 08:00 and 18:00 , however the role is driven by the requirements of the contract, meaning there will be periods of downtime and rest throughout the working day rather than continuous work across the full duty period.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out and certify aircraft maintenance within the scope of company authorisations.
Undertake line and base maintenance activities as required.
Complete all aircraft maintenance tasks safely, efficiently and in accordance with the required standards.
Analyse and interpret aircraft technical information.
Ensure aircraft, component and maintenance documentation is completed to the highest standard.
Provide regular engineering reports to the Head of Maintenance/Head of Department.
Effectively manage maintenance activities within your control.
Maintain compliance with applicable aviation authority and company requirements, including CAA and EASA requirements where relevant.
Liaise with operational crews to ensure aircraft defects are accurately defined and recorded.
Supervise engineering and support personnel where required.
Support the wider operation through aircraft towing and movement, ground handling, fuelling and marshalling activities.
Carry out aircraft and company vehicle cleaning as required.
Support the loading and unloading of aircraft luggage and ballast where required.
Maintain aircraft safety and security on the ramp in accordance with CAP642.
Carry out daily inspections and maintenance of allocated ground support equipment.
