MERITUS are recruiting for an Electrical Wireperson to join our client within the Energy sphere as they grow across Transmission and Distribution.
ELECTRICAL WIREPERSON - £NEG - STONE, STAFFORDSHIRE - GREAT PACKAGE - FAST PROCESS - SECTOR: NUCLEAR / POWER GENERATION You will be responsible for the assembly, wiring and testing of electrical control panels, working from detailed engineering drawings, parts lists and specifications.
You will play a key part in ensuring high-quality build standards are maintained, supporting production deadlines and working closely with engineering and test teams to resolve any build or design issues.
Key Responsibilities Assemble and wire electrical control panels to engineering drawings and specifications.
Build mechanical enclosures, cubicles and framework.
Carry out bench assembly of electrical sub-assemblies.
Work to company quality standards and procedures at all times.
Complete assembly record cards to ensure full traceability of components.
Ensure all work meets required quality standards, including rework identified during inspection and test.
Update electronic issue logs and communicate directly with design engineers to resolve build issues.
Support production targets and deadlines, including flexible working where required.
Work collaboratively within a wider assembly and test team....
