MERITUS are recruiting for a CNC Miller to join our Precision Manufacturing client in a permanent role.

An established precision engineering manufacturer operating within highly regulated engineering sectors is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join its growing machine shop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a machinist who is confident working across setting, operating and programming responsibilities within a quality-driven environment.

  • Set, operate and programme CNC milling machines (3-axis)
  • Produce precision-machined components in line with engineering drawings and specifications
  • Work to tight tolerances and ensure high standards of quality and accuracy
  • Proven background as a CNC Machinist within a precision engineering environment
  • Strong experience with CNC milling machinery (3-axis)
  • Capability across setting, operating and programming
  • Good working knowledge of cutting tools and machining practices
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high levels of accuracy and quality
  • Experience manufacturing precision components for regulated or high-specification industries would be advantageous
