MERITUS are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to work a double-day, lineside shift routine for one of our large aerospace clients in Flintshire.

QUALITY ENGINEER - INSIDE IR35 - £36.70 PER HOUR (£44.04 PER HOUR After Shift Allowance) - 9 Months - FLINTSHIRE, UK - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS

Working within an Autonomous Production Team at our client, you will be embedded on the shopfloor, ensuring complex aerospace assembly continues without disruption. When production hits a technical barrier, you are the escalation point.

What You Will Do

  • Diagnose and support Non-Conformities (NC)
  • Lead containment and corrective action follow-up
  • Create enriched technical documentation
  • Raise Design Query Notes (DQN)
  • Generate rework work orders
  • Manage outstanding work
  • Interface with Work Preparation, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain
  • Support LEAN and waste reduction initiatives
  • Drive EHS and quality adherence at station level
  • Prioritise work orders linked to concessions or blocking points

You will operate daily in:

  • High-pressure production environments
  • Cross-functional decision-making forums
  • Continuous improvement cycles
  • Technical documentation and SAP systems
