- Providing corrosion protection and sealing concepts to support airframe structures
- Supporting multiple aircraft programmes with corrosion analysis and protection strategies
- Contributing to performance improvement, cost reduction and process optimisation activities
- Supporting the transition to chromate free corrosion protection systems
- Ensuring compliance with EHS and REACh regulations through eco-efficient materials and processes
- Working closely with international engineering teams across sites
What we are looking for:
- Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or similar
- Proven experience in corrosion protection and surface technologies within aerospace
- Strong knowledge of aerospace materials including metallics and composites
- Experience with surface treatments, coatings, paints and sealants
- Practical understanding of aerospace manufacturing and in-service environments
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a multi-site international team
- Confident communicator with professional level English
Contract details:
- Rate: £40 per hour
- Duration: 12 months
- Location: Filton, Bristol
