Meriton Suites is seeking a casual Housekeeping Supervisor for our vibrant Southport property.
About the Role
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring suites are prepared efficiently. You will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager and Assistant Housekeeping Manager to maintain high standards in suites, public areas, and back of house. This role offers a clear career progression pathway and the opportunity to learn from experienced leaders.
Your key responsibilities
- Assign daily rooms and duties.
- Coordinate and supervise staff training.
- Manage workforce to meet daily deadlines.
- Ensure guest rooms are prepared, clean, and well-presented according to hotel standards and guest expectations.
- Manage time effectively with a methodical approach.
- Attend to guest inquiries and requests.
To be successful in this role you will
- Have previous experience in a large-scale 4- or 5-star hotel or serviced apartment environment (desirable).
- Possess supervisory experience or extensive housekeeping experience.
- Be immaculately presented.
- Be passionate about guest service.
- Be well-organized with attention to detail.
- Work well in a team and under pressure.
