About the Opportunity
Meriton Associates are working with a highly respected, specialist construction consultancy delivering commercial management, project delivery, and dispute resolution services across the UK and internationally. Our client has built a strong reputation over decades for providing expert support across the full lifecycle of construction projects—from contract formation through to completion and dispute resolution.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of complex, high-value projects, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team.
The Role
You will play a key role in delivering commercial and contractual support across a diverse portfolio including residential, commercial, infrastructure, and major development projects. Responsibilities will include:
- Cost planning and cost management across project stages
- Procurement and contract administration (NEC / JCT)
- Managing valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Supporting dispute avoidance and resolution where required
- Working closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Providing commercially sound advice to maximise project outcomes
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has 5+ years’ experience as a Surveyor (consultancy or developer/contractor background)
- Holds a degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Is working towards or already holds MRICS (preferred but not essential)
- Has strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
- Demonstrates excellent commercial awareness and communication skills
- Is ambitious and keen to progress within a high-performing consultancy
