Meriton Associates Ltd are working with a leading regional civil engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Civils Project Manager to support a busy pipeline of infrastructure and civils projects across the South. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well‑established, growing contractor known for delivering projects safely, on time, and to a consistently high standard. The Role
You will manage one large scheme or multiple smaller projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery excellence and maintaining high standards across site teams and subcontractors. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong leadership, commercial awareness, and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Full lifecycle project management of civils and infrastructure projects
- Lead site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
- Programme planning, cost control, and risk management
- Maintain strong client relationships and stakeholder communication
- Ensure HSEQ compliance and best practice across all projects
- Reporting on project performance, commercial matters, and progress
About You
- Proven experience as a Civils Project Manager within the construction industry
- Background in highways, infrastructure, utilities, or public realm projects
- Knowledge of NEC contracts (or similar)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem solving
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification preferred
- Full UK driving licence
