We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance within their homes.

This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the care and attention necessary for their well‑being.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting the patient with bathing, grooming, and getting dressed
  • Handling household tasks like grocery shopping and laundry
  • Preparing and serving meals at the appropriate time
  • Administering oral and topical medication under the supervision of medical personnel
  • Providing mental and emotional support
  • Making recommendations to family members and healthcare personnel on the plan of care
  • Working with other health care and social care professionals to ensure the best possible care is provided to the clients
  • To maintain accurate, concise, up‑to‑date and timely records of the service user’s care, daily logs, medication forms, financial transaction sheets and time sheets.
  • To report back to the manager(s) or supervisor(s) on any aspect of the service user’s care which, in the view of the care/support worker, warrants investigation or urgent action.
  • Induct new Carers in the field
  • Do random and scheduled spot checks to ensure quality care is always delivered.
  • To participate in reviews of service users’ care plans as required
  • To perform such other duties as may reasonably be required

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
  • 12 months UK care experience and full right to work.
  • Possession of, or willingness to work towards, a level 3 NVQ qualification or similar.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Confident, positive interpersonal skills with leadership abilities
