Position: Grounds Maintenance Worker

Salary: £13.00 p/h

Hours of work: PART TIME, flexible 2 to 3 days p/w

Location: Coalville, Leicestershire with mobile off site working

We are seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team, working across domestic and commercial properties. This is a mobile role, primarily covering sites across the Midlands, with flexible working hours to meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mowing lawns, edging, and general grass maintenance
  • Planting, pruning, and watering trees, shrubs, and flower beds
  • Weed control and litter removal
  • Leaf clearing and seasonal ground preparation
  • Operating and maintaining grounds maintenance equipment (mowers, strimmers, blowers, etc.)
  • Carrying out basic inspections to identify hazards or maintenance issues
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times

Skills and experience needed:

  • Experience in ground maintenance/gardening/landscaping/outdoor work
  • Ability to carry out physical outdoor work in all weather conditions
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions
  • Good timekeeping and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full driving licence

Desirable, but not essential experience:

  • Experience using powered garden equipment
  • Experience using pesticide or herbicides
  • Basic knowledge of plants and lawn care
