The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence for SAVR Surgical’s Heat Valve portfolio across key European markets, including Spain, the UK, Germany, and Italy. The role focuses on territory management, distributor development, key account engagement, and achieving revenue targets while ensuring full compliance with European medical device regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop sales operations across the assigned European territories.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for the Heat Valve product portfolio.
  • Identify, appoint, and manage distributors and channel partners in each country.
  • Build strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, surgeons, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.
  • Conduct regular market visits to support distributors and develop key accounts.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and pricing to identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical presentations for distributors and customers.
  • Participate in regional and international exhibitions, trade fairs, and conferences.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (regulatory, logistics, production, marketing) to ensure smooth order processing and high customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with EU MDR, CE marking, and country-specific healthcare regulations.
  • Prepare territory plans, sales forecasts, and periodic performance reports.

Candidate Profile / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 4–7 years of experience in international or area sales within the medical device or surgical products industry.
  • Proven experience managing distributors in multiple European markets (Spain, UK, Germany, Italy preferred).
