Job Title – Area Sales Manager

Reporting to – Business Head – Europe (Meril Endo Surgery)

We have a dynamic role which allows an individual to lead and grow Meril’s Endo Surgery business.

This is a personally gratifying career opportunity to build something ground up and for a longer term goals.

Job responsibilities:

  • Build the commercial strategy and needed GTM for identified regions by working closely with the European Manager for Meril Endo surgery business vertical.
  • Utilize our Global & European Training academies (Frankfurt and Madrid) to engage KOLs in focus therapy space via our Prof Ed goals.
  • Act as a thought leader in effective segmentation of the regions assigned and market access strategies.
  • Build a strong connect with Procurement stakeholders of NHS Health boards to drive Meril value proposition in an effective manner.
  • 100% field-based Meril Endo Surgery portfolio sales and business management in the assigned territory
  • Meet desired sales objectives & increase product penetration as per organizational business and growth objectives
  • Acquire, keep up-to-date and report in-depth knowledge of the territory, including

Information on current customers, business potential, competitor activity and market trends

  • Continuously assess the territory and market, identify sales opportunities and develop unique ways to grow the business with the customers
  • Development and retain long, strong and effective partnership relations with decision makers in assigned key accounts
  • Follow organizational objectives and country regulations to ensure high degree of compliance in business and ensure high integrity and ethical standards in transactions with all stake holders

Requirements:

  • Higher education
  • Experience on a similar position in the area of medical equipment in a hospital environment
  • Location: UK
  • Knowledge of Endo-surgery environment (Sutures / Staplers / Hernia Meshes / Hemostats) will be strong advantage
  • Strong communication skills
  • Outstanding relationship-building skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing conditions
  • Taking initiative & target oriented
  • Fluency in English
  • Must be based in the UK .
