This is a role with an opportunity to make a real difference to the learning and progress of our pupils, working to provide one-to-one and group support and teaching. You will be adapting teaching resources, thinking of new ways to learn, being fun and creative in your approach and adaptable to children's needs. Our Teaching Assistants are highly valued in our school - you will work closely with our SENDCo and SEND team to provide our children with the best possible educational opportunities. An element of your duties will also include preparation of fantastic teaching resources/class displays.

- Adapt teaching resources and think of new ways to learn; be fun, creative and adaptable to children's needs.
- Work closely with the SENDCo and SEND team to provide the best possible educational opportunities for children.

Requirements / Qualifications
- GCSE English & Maths Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent.
- Experience of supporting pupils with SEND or behaviour needs would be beneficial.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to be adaptable, take on new ideas and think on their feet.
- Understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.

Salary and Hours
Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 5 Points 5-7 (£18,841 - £19,445 Actual Salary)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.
