Overview
This is a role with an opportunity to make a real difference to the learning and progress of our pupils, working to provide one-to-one and group support and teaching. You will be adapting teaching resources, thinking of new ways to learn, being fun and creative in your approach and adaptable to children\’s needs. Our Teaching Assistants are highly valued in our school – you will work closely with our SENDCo and SEND team to provide our children with the best possible educational opportunities. An element of your duties will also include preparation of fantastic teaching resources/class displays.

- Collaborate with the SENDCo and SEND team to deliver inclusive education
- Prepare teaching resources and class displays
- Support the development of a positive learning environment
Qualifications and Skills
- GCSE English & Maths Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent
- ELSA qualified
- Experience of supporting pupils with SEND or behavioural needs is beneficial
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Adaptable, open to new ideas and able to think on their feet
- Understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues

Salary and Hours
Salary: £21971.86 – £22676.12
Hours: 30 hours per week, 39 weeks of the year (term time plus one week)
