Overview Implementation Consultant — Behavioural Change / Healthcare Productivity Associate (Contractor) — UK-wide Responsibilities Be an agile team member delivering implementation programmes that embed behavioural change across clinical and operational teams. Work shoulder to shoulder to support and influence clinicians and managers to redesign workflows, reduce waste and improve patient pathways using GIRFT and other evidence-based approaches. Coach, run workshops and engage frontline staff so new practices stick. Set and monitor outcome and value metrics (clinical outcomes, waiting times, resource utilisation) and report impact. Build strong relationships with senior clinical and operational stakeholders and act as a practical, trusted advisor. Produce roadmaps that combine programme delivery with explicit change-management and benefit-realisation plans. Qualifications Proven experience in designing and executing improvement plans as well as implementing change that demonstrably improved clinical outcomes and delivered value for a healthcare provider. Thorough understanding of GIRFT or equivalent quality-improvement frameworks and how to apply them in practice. Experience in the NHS is ideal — but candidates with equivalent implementation experience in healthcare or related sectors will be considered. Strong analytical skills (data to insight), facilitation and influencing skills, and experience presenting to stakeholders at all levels. Comfortable travelling extensively and able to stay away from home during the working week when required.
