Overview
Implementation Consultant — Behavioural Change / Healthcare Productivity Associate (Contractor) — UK-wide
Responsibilities
- Be an agile team member delivering implementation programmes that embed behavioural change across clinical and operational teams.
- Work shoulder to shoulder to support and influence clinicians and managers to redesign workflows, reduce waste and improve patient pathways using GIRFT and other evidence-based approaches.
- Coach, run workshops and engage frontline staff so new practices stick.
- Set and monitor outcome and value metrics (clinical outcomes, waiting times, resource utilisation) and report impact.
- Build strong relationships with senior clinical and operational stakeholders and act as a practical, trusted advisor.
- Produce roadmaps that combine programme delivery with explicit change-management and benefit-realisation plans.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in designing and executing improvement plans as well as implementing change that demonstrably improved clinical outcomes and delivered value for a healthcare provider.
- Thorough understanding of GIRFT or equivalent quality-improvement frameworks and how to apply them in practice.
- Experience in the NHS is ideal — but candidates with equivalent implementation experience in healthcare or related sectors will be considered.
- Strong analytical skills (data to insight), facilitation and influencing skills, and experience presenting to stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfortable travelling extensively and able to stay away from home during the working week when required.
