We are currently recruiting for a REACH Compliance Managerto support chemical regulatory compliance and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) activities within a leading engineering and aerospace environment.
Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will act as a key point of contact for REACH matters, supporting the REACH Manager and representing the local site within the wider REACH team.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact between the local site and the UK REACH Manager.
- Provide support, information and updates to the wider REACH team.
- Represent the local site within REACH meetings and activities.
- Support the REACH Manager with their responsibilities.
- Identify and assess REACH-related risks and potential issues.
- Work with the local Risk Management team to identify ways to reduce and manage risks.
- Support the HSE Manager with wider HSE-related tasks and activities.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience in REACH / chemical compliance /environmental compliancewho is comfortable working with different teams and managing information.
You will need to be organised, analytical and able to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders. xgikmsk
Key Skills
- Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or similar
- Experience of working within the chemical industry or authorities; experience in regulatory affairs is a must
- Extensive knowledge of UK/EU policy on Chemicals, especially REACH
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
- Strong capacity to communicate with people with different technical backgrounds
- Ability to lead discussions and build consensus
- Strong analytical and organisational skills Excellent English (written and spoken)
- Adaptability to work to tight deadlines and to handle multiple priorities
- Eager to learn and develop new skills
