Job Description
I am currently looking for an experiencedToolmaker/Engineerto join my clients growing team in Taunton. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about precision engineering, problem-solving, and buildingcustom, bespoke toolingto the highest standards.
As part of our Toolroom team, you will be involved in themilling, drilling, fitting, and assemblyof precision tooling components, supporting a range of specialized projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Precision milling and drilling of bespoke tooling components using manual and CNC machines.
- Assembly and fitting of custom tools, fixtures, and jigs to exact specifications.
- Ensure all tooling is manufactured to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
- Perform hand-finishing operations (e.g., deburring, polishing) to achieve precise fits and finishes.
- Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to deliver tooling solutions that meet project requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Toolmaker/Engineering role, preferably in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Strong skills in manual and CNC milling and drilling operations.
- Proficient in mechanical assembly and hand-fitting techniques.
- Ability to read and understand complex technical drawings and specifications.
