We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established regional law firm who are continuing to grow their Conveyancing teams across Somerset and Devon.
The Roles
- Exmouth & Chard: We are seeking Conveyancers / Junior Solicitors / Legal Executives who are confident managing their own caseload of residential conveyancing matters. Salary: £35,000 - £45,000. Ideal for fee earners looking to develop within a supportive team.
- Taunton: A more senior opportunity for an experienced Conveyancer or Solicitor, ideally with some exposure to supervising or mentoring a small team. Salary: £40,000 - £50,000. Opportunity to take on added responsibility within a growing department.
Responsibilities
- Managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
- Handling sales, purchases, and associated matters
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and other parties
- Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and compliantly (Taunton role)
- Supporting and guiding junior team members
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Conveyancer
- Proven experience running a caseload independently
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Team-focused, professional, and client-driven approach
- For the Taunton role, some team management or mentoring experience is desirable
Working Arrangements
Roles are ideally full-time and office-based. Flexible working / some WFH can be considered for the right candidate.
