Location: Rochdale
Salary: £32,000 – £36,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, 37.5 hours per week
Benefits: 6% employer pension contribution + support towards CIMA, ACCA and further accounting qualifications

We are recruiting for an Accounts Supervisor to join an established finance team in Rochdale . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to step into a supervisory position, managing the day-to-day workload of an Accounts Assistant while developing their experience across month-end accounting, reconciliations, credit control, management reporting, financial controls and audit .
Reporting to the Accounting Manager , the Accounts Supervisor will provide day-to-day supervision and practical support to the Accounts Assistant, while also taking responsibility for a range of operational accounting activities.
This role would suit an Accounts Senior, Senior Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant or experienced Accounts professional who is ready to take on more responsibility and develop towards a wider management accounting or finance role.
Accounts Supervisor – Key Responsibilities Supervise and provide day-to-day guidance and support to the Accounts Assistant.
Organise the transactional accounting workload and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Review accounting work, investigate discrepancies and escalate unusual or material issues.
Provide practical cover across purchase ledger, sales ledger, banking and general accounting .
