Packing operative required to work Monday to Friday.

The Role

Double Day shifts:

• Early shifts 06:30 – 14:00 Monday to Thursday / 06:30 – 12:30 Friday
• Late shifts 14:00 – 21:45 Monday to Thursday / 12:30 – 17:30 Friday

The role is temporary with a view to becoming permanent after 12 weeks, for the right candidate.

The main purpose of this role is to pack from machines ensuring production targets are achieved.

• Packing from the end of the machine
• Working with high-speed machinery
• Quality checking products
• Packing correct quantities
• Calculating quantities using calculator and logging down
• Boxing
• Labeling
• Palletising
• Working to production targets
• Multi-tasking to complete several elements of the role at once

The ideal candidate:

• Must be able to work at speed
• Have quality inspection skills
• Have the ability to check own work
