Meridian Business Support are currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse Unit Manager (RGN/RMN) to lead and support our care team. It’s a priority for us to couple great care with meaningful and enjoyable experiences, all delivered with dignity, compassion and kindness. Key Responsibilities of a Unit Manager Act in accordance with the NMC code of professional conduct Coordinate the planning and implementation of care Manage and monitor service delivery Deliver hands-on person-centred care Maintain accurate records with our electronic care plans Safe administration of medication Assess, Plan, Implement and Evaluate care through developing individualised care plans and detailed risk assessments for residents Ensure Residents receive care that promotes choice, dignity and respect Involvement in working within a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals Lead and supervise a team of care workers, including undertaking supervisions & appraisals, and mentor new staff Complete audits in line with the governance of the HomeTo succeed as a Unit Manager you will be Registered with the NMC and hold a valid PIN A team player who engages well with others Strong communicator Energetic and hard-working Flexible and adaptable to change Passionate about offering quality services and want to make a difference A glass half full person, with a sense of humour and a positive attitudePay: £23.32 per hour 12 hour shift Day shift Overtime Weekend availabilityAbility to commute/relocate: Keighley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
