Nationwide Electrician
Meridian are working with a client based in Huddersfield that are currently hiring for their Electrical team, and are therefore looking to grow their team of Commercial Electricians. This company work all over the country, performing Electrical installations, such as 1st and 2nd fix, building services, EV charging points, as well as solar and renewable energy services. If you are looking to join a growing company, that has a focus on commercial fit outs and Building Services, with a variety of nationwide work offering additional hours and overtime, then this role is perfect for you!

Benefits include (but are not exclusive to):

  • Starting salary of 42k – 45k (Dependant on experience), with plenty of additional earning potential
  • Additional overtime available on a project-specific basis

Requirements for this job:

  • Gold JIB Electrician Card
  • SSSTS/SMSTS desirable but not essential
  • Experience installing 1st, 2nd and final fix on commercial fit outs and building services
  • Experience installing and maintaining Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Duties will include (but are not exclusive to):

  • Commercial electrical installation, such as power & lighting, metal containment, wiring, cabling, trunking, conduit etc.
  • Diagnostic and maintenance work on electrical BMS and building services
  • Installation of renewable energy building services, such as solar panelling, EV cabling and charger points, LED lighting upgrades etc.
