Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Building Surveyor to play a key role in the leadership and development of our Building Consultancy service line. This opportunity is deliberately flexible and open to candidates from Senior to Associate Director to Head of Building Consultancy level, depending on experience. It will suit someone looking to step up, shape a team, and influence the direction of a growing consultancy.
The Role
You will lead on and deliver a broad range of commercial building surveying and consultancy services, including:
- Schedules of Condition & Dilapidations
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs)
- Technical Due Diligence (TDD)
- Condition Surveys
- Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCAs)
- Project delivery across a range of sectors
In addition, you will:
- Take a lead role in the management and growth of the Building Consultancy function
- Support, mentor and develop junior and mid-level surveyors
- Build and manage client relationships
- Contribute strategically to service development, workload planning and business growth
About You
- MRICS/MCIOB qualified Building Surveyor
- Strong commercial building surveying background
- Experience managing clients and projects independently
- Leadership, mentoring or team management experience (or a clear desire to move into this space)
- Based in, or able to commute within, the North West
