The Company:
Are you an experiencedMechanical or MultiskilledMaintenanceEngineerorMaintenance Technician? Candidates with a Mechanical biasare needed within this busy engineering facility. You will be responsible for the dailymaintenanceandrepair(preventative and emergency) of a wide range ofproduction and engineering machinery. Previous experience in anIndustrial Maintanence Engineeringrole is essential. Various shifts available including: 3 shift, swing shift and possibly a continental shift for highly experiencedMaintenance Technicians.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Minimise production downtime by trouble shooting breakdowns and preventing reoccurrences.
  • Work with electrical and mechanical drawings and documentation undertake fault finding and modification of plant and equipment.
  • Use a Maintenance Management System carry out preventative/ planned maintenance work.
  • Contribute to improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and reducing recurring issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to all EHS Company policies.
  • Continuously enhance job knowledge through training and development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a time-served apprenticeship with a minimum level 3 qualification, BTEC/City and Guilds or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated multiskilled proficiencyin pneumatic/hydraulic systems,fabrication,and welding.
  • Proven competency in reading and interpreting electricalor mechanical diagrams as well as troubleshooting control panels.
  • Ability to pass medical which includes assessments for working at height and in confined spaces.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with office software applications.
  • Resilient,resourceful approach,with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Proactive work ethic,strong initiative,and the ability to operate independently within a shift team environment.
