Meridian Business Support are recruiting for MIG Welders to work for our clientbased in Longton, Stoke on Trent
Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Longton, providing high-quality metal cutting, bending and welding solutions to a wide range of clients. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experiencedMIG Welderto join their team.
The Role This is a hands-on welding role within a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components in line with technical drawings and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- MIG and TIG welding mild steel components
- Working from engineering drawings and job specifications
- Fabricating and assembling parts as required
- Inspecting welds to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
- Supporting production targets and deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Reliable with a positive and proactive attitude
Working Hours and Rate of pay
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am 3:30pm
- Β£14.00 - Β£15.00 -
- Salary negotiable depending on experience
