Meridian requires a permanent full‑time Multi Trader for a large static site in Battersea (high‑end residential apartments). The role offers £45,000 per annum salary, with Wednesday and Thursday off, working hours 8 am-5 pm Monday‑Thursday. Overtime is available at 1.5× rate. Discretionary annual bonuses and awards are given to exceptional performers. The position provides development, cross‑training and exposure to other roles.
Responsibilities
- Work in shared residential spaces within the development: entrance halls, foyers, reception areas, stairwells, landings, corridors, car parks, gates and external pathways, bin stores, refuse areas, laundry rooms, communal facilities.
- Carry out maintenance duties, including carpentry repairs to doors and windows, basic locksmith work, roof, guttering, drainage maintenance and repair, small‑scale decoration works and flooring installation.
- Conduct security inspections and operations, report defects and install signage.
- Perform health & safety inspections and assist in maintaining a safe environment.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition; report issues or replacement needs.
- Complete all documentation and time logs accurately and on time.
- Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff, estate managers and contractors when required.
Qualifications
- Previous related maintenance experience in a multi‑trader role, ideally within high‑end residential or hotel environments.
- Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in interior/exterior repair.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a building environment.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and ability to interact with people at all levels.
