Meridian are working with a leading critical infrastructure business which specialise in data centres across the UK. As they continue to grow and secure more business, they are looking to grow their team of full-time HVAC and Refrigeration Engineers. Requirements for this job:

  • Mechanical CSCS card
  • NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
  • F-Gas Category 1
  • City & Guilds 2079
  • City and Guilds 6187-21 Brazing and Pipework
  • Have a thorough understanding of Gas, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration systems
  • Full UK Driving Licence (This is a nationwide role)
  • Good communication and customer-service skills
  • Effective teamworking skills

Your primary duties as a HVAC & Refrigeration Engineer will include:

  • Installation and commissioning of HVAC and Refrigeration units in commercial, industrial and residential projects
  • Installation, maintenance and remedial work on relevant electrical and mechanical systems relating to the Air Con & Refrigeration systems such as pipework installation, associated wiring and cabling, cooling systems, and system testing
  • Perform PPM, remedial work, as well as Testing and Inspection duties on HVAC & Refrigeration systems to ensure safe and complete functionality in line with company policies, Industry Standards, and Health and Safety Regulations whilst meeting client's needs in a cost-effective and time-efficient manner
  • Work well in a team of engineers as well as being self-sufficient and able to manage your own time whilst meeting client deadlines
