Meridian Business Support is recruiting Document Handling Operatives (Manifest Mailroom & Archive) for a global digital solutions company supporting a prestigious government project in Hemel Hempstead.
This is a great opportunity to secure a long-term temporary role with full training, weekly pay, free onsite parking and no weekend working.
Shifts & Pay
Monday to Friday
- AM Shift: 6:00am to 2:00pm | £13.46 per hour
- PM Shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm | £15.34 per hour
Job Responsibilities
- Sort and process confidential documents
- Use PCs and handheld scanners to locate and track records
- Pick and put away documents within a secure storage library
- Retrieve archived documents accurately and efficiently
- Move boxes of confidential records within storage areas
- Work to quality and productivity targets within a team environment
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a mailroom, postroom, archive, warehouse, records management or similar environment would be an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident using scanners and computer systems
- Ability to work in a targeted and performance-driven environment
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
- Safety shoes required (Meridian can assist if needed)
- Full training and a buddy system will be provided.
Security Requirements
- Pass a basic DBS check
- Complete a credit check
- Provide verifiable employment and education history
- Have long-term UK residency
