The Role
AsContracts Manager, you will oversee small works, planned maintenance and restoration projects to the internal and external communal areas of buildings within the companys property portfolio.
Projects will vary in scope, giving you broad exposure to refurbishment, repair, compliance-led works, customer liaison and contractor management. You will coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors, budgets, quality, health and safety, and programme delivery, ensuring each project is completed safely, commercially and to the standard expected by residents, clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage small works and restoration projects from pre-start through to completion and handover.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor labour, materials, subcontractors and site activities.
- Carry out regular site visits to review progress, quality, safety and programme targets.
- Oversee project costs, budgets, variations, valuations and estimates.
- Prepare and submit tenders, estimates, valuations and project documentation as required.
- Ensure health, safety, environmental and site records are maintained and compliant. xsabvtc
- Chair or attend pre-works meetings, progress meetings and site coordination discussions.
