Production Operator in Ellesmere Port

Meridian business support is recruiting for a Production Operator for a Company based in Ellesmere port.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and equipment associated with the assembly / production process
• Carry out production techniques and tasks associated with the assembly / production process
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times and observe good housekeeping practices
• Lifting sacks which weigh up to 25 kg and tipping them into the mixer
• Adhere to HACCP principles for safe food ingredient production
• Carry out other duties as requested by the Production Manager
• Regular use of a production knife to open sacks with a product
• As a member of a small team, you are required to take on extra responsibilities from time to time

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday – 8AM – 5PM

Friday – 9AM – 1PM

40 hours per week

Pay

£ 12.90 per hour

Job involves heavy lifting !!!

Drug and alcohol test is carried out randomly.
