Meridian Business Support is recruiting for an experienced and motivated DMR Radio Engineer to join a growing technical team working across the Northern region (Supporting their Head Office in Hampshire). This role supports a diverse customer base, providing delivery, installation, maintenance, and technical support for communication, security, and technology systems.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, varied environments, and involvement in high-profile events and projects.
What Youll Do
- Install, commission & maintain equipment
- Provide remote & onsite technical support
- Complete surveys, reports & documentation
- Support events (some weekend work)
- Join a 24/7 call-out rota
What Youll Need
- Strong technical mindset & customer focus
- Valid UK driving licence
- Basic IT networking knowledge (desirable)
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Essential: Strong working knowledge of Motorola Digital Mobile Radio (DMR)
- Desirable: Experience with Hytera, Icom, Kirisun and/or Caltta radio systems.
- Flexible with travel & occasional overnight stays
Salary & Benefits
- £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
