This role might suit somebody who's an Electrical Engineer who could also project manage within a manufacturing facility.

Experience in electrical maintenance of industrial services and/or machines would be beneficial OR with building services including fixed installation testing and power distribution.

This Electrical Project Engineer role is critical to ensure that the manufacturing equipment, services, buildings and the entire engineering infrastructure are maintained and improved to meet the current and future demands of the business.

  • Identifying, specifying, sourcing, and purchasing machines and equipment.
  • Supervising sub-contractors, ensuring project implementation to time and cost whilst complying with all Company and H&S requirements.
  • Creating project plans to support machine rearrangement, equipment installation, improvement, and cost reduction projects.
  • Carrying out plant engineering activities, with minimal supervision, across the site including building/electrical infrastructure and manufacturing equipment.
  • Providing technical expertise, including data analysis, planning and execution to improve equipment availability and asset utilisation for the site.
  • Assisting Maintenance undertaking fault finding across the plant and on the equipment.
  • Creation and maintenance of technical files for new and existing equipment.

Qualified to a HNC or equivalent in Electrical or Controls Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience. No other formal Electrical qualifications are required in this role but you will need to have a knowledge of low and high voltage electrical systems and schematics and be able to effectively communicate with and manage electrical contractors on site.

Ability to identify and solve to root cause, repetitive reliability problems and write maintenance procedures. CAD experience, full Microsoft suite and ideally Oracle useful.
