Meridian are working with a well-established MEP contractor near Deeside that are growing a new Mechanical division, and have opportunities available for experienced and ambitious Commercial Plumbing & Heating Engineers to carry out commercial, industrial and residential plumbing, heating, renewables, & drainage works. Works will consist of small works, maintenance contracts & full site installations. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a new and exciting growth period, where progression and further opportunities may be available for the right person.

Requirements for the role:
- Blue or Gold Plumber/Heating Engineer/Pipefitter CSCS card
- DBS checked, or willing to take a DBS check
- Experience of commercial small works & maintenance contracts
- Experience on domestic projects is not essential but is a bonus
- Minimum of 5-10 years experience with Mechanical Building Services, ideally with experience in water regulations, gas systems, renewables and solar thermal equipment
- Full, clean UK Driving Licence
Duties include (but are not exclusive to):
- Installation of plumbing and heating systems on commercial and light industrial sites, e.g hospitals, universities, education projects, government buildings, schools, railways etc.
- Ability to work on mechanical building services, including plumbing, heating, hot & cold water systems, sanitaryware, drainage etc.
- Working alongside other trades and subcontractors
- Ability to read drawings and work closely with management teams to achieve project goals
- Ability to work independently on set tasks, or in larger teams when required
- Working to deadlines for project delivery, with excellent time-keeping skills
- Full understanding and compliance with onsite HSE
- Willingness to learn and progress
