CNC Operator & Programmer
? Location: Crigglestone
Hours: 40 – 42 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
? Pay: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)

Join our clients growing team and play a key role in producing high-quality, bespoke fire door sets. We are seeking an experienced and driven CNC Operator & Programmer to take ownership of programming, operating, and overseeing CNC production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Programming & Operation – Create, optimise, and implement CNC programs for Holzher and Weeke machines to ensure precise and efficient production. Operate CNC machinery to deliver high-quality components.
Capacity Planning & Scheduling – Manage and coordinate production schedules to optimise machine utilisation and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Maintenance & Repairs – Oversee routine maintenance and organise necessary repairs to minimise downtime and keep all CNC machinery in peak condition.
Training & Development – Mentor and support two junior CNC trainees, guiding their technical growth and ensuring effective hands-on learning.
Team Supervision – Lead by example, ensuring junior staff adhere to safety procedures, follow best practices, and develop confidence in CNC operations.Requirements:
Proven experience operating and programming CNC machines, ideally Holzher and/or Weeke.
Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and production workflows.
Ability to lead, mentor, and communicate effectively with team members.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards machine maintenance and production planning.
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
