Warehouse Operative in Chipping Norton

Warehouse Operative in Chipping Norton

Chipping Norton Full-Time On-site
M

Our client is a small, friendly UK distributor of disposable medical products. They are looking for a reliable, organised and motivated Warehouse Operative to join their team ideally on a temporary to permanent basis.
This is a varied, hands-on role in a fabulous environment that is more like an office than a warehouse!
The existing members of staff are helpful and supportive and are looking for someone who will play an important part in ensuring their customers receive their orders accurately and on time.
Your contribution will really matter as the products distributed support people in their everyday lives, so accuracy, reliability and excellent customer service make a genuine difference.
Due to the location you MUST drive and have a car.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Receiving and checking incoming deliveries.
Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.
Processing orders and maintaining accurate records using Sage Line 50.
Monitoring stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Liaising with customers, suppliers and shipping agents when required.
The client is looking for someone who is:
Organised, conscientious and highly accurate.
A good communicator with a friendly and professional manner.
A positive team player who can also work independently and use their initiative.
Flexible, reliable and willing to learn.
Comfortable with the practical, physical aspects of a warehouse role.
Previous warehouse, logistics or distribution experience would be an advantage, as would experience with Sage Line 50, Microsoft Word and Excel, but full training will be provided to the right person.
If you are looking for a varied role in a company where you can make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.
