Role Overview

As a Calibration Engineer, you will join a dedicated team providing UKAS accredited calibration services for test equipment across various parameters. Your primary focus will be on the calibration of velocity for wind tunnels and wind speed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calibrate customer and in-house meters, gauges, and various instruments.
  • Follow all documented calibration procedures meticulously.
  • Accurately record all measurements and produce detailed calibration certificates.
  • Maintain precise calibration records and ensure all equipment used is properly documented.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding technical requirements.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Hands-on experience in calibration, test, or equipment engineering, particularly in pressure, velocity, temperature, humidity, or gas and liquid flow.
  • A driving licence is advantageous as occasional travel to other local sites may be required.
  • Proficiency with PCs is essential.
  • UKAS Signatory desirable but training can be provided.
