My client is currently seeking an experienced Retail Manager for their Longwell Green Branch, Job Summary: The Assistant Interiors Retail Manager supports the daily operations of the interiors department within a retail environment. This role involves assisting with visual merchandising, team supervision, customer service, inventory management, and sales strategy implementation. The ideal candidate has a passion for interior design, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced retail setting. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service & Sales Deliver exceptional service to customers by understanding their interior design needs and offering tailored product solutions. Assist in achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs. Resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently. Team Support & Leadership Support the Retail Manager in leading, training, and motivating the interiors team. Supervise staff on the floor and ensure adherence to company policies and standards. Assist in scheduling and shift planning. Visual Merchandising & Product Presentation Help maintain and update store displays in accordance with seasonal themes and brand guidelines. Ensure product placement maximizes customer engagement and sales opportunities. Inventory & Stock Management Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the manager on reordering and stock replenishment. Participate in inventory counts and assist with stockroom organization. Operational Support Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Assist with opening and closing procedures.Requirements: Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in interiors, furniture, or home décor. Strong interest or background in interior design or visual merchandising. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills.
