Meridian Business Support is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to work for a well-established global packaging manufacturer based in Milton Keynes. These are long-term temporary opportunities offering regular hours, a supportive team environment and the chance to join a successful manufacturing operation. Successful applicants will work either a fixed day shift or fixed night shift and must be able to work any 4 days out of 7, including weekends.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play an important part in the packing and movement of products within a busy production environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving bottles from the end of a packing machine
- Removing products safely from the production line
- Packing bottles into boxes ready for distribution
- Moving packaged products to designated warehouse locations
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets
Day Shift
Available - must be flexible to work any 4 out of 7 including weekends
- 6:00am - 6:00pm
- £13.10 per hour;£14.42 per hour at weekends
Night Shift
Available - must be flexible to work any 4 out of 7 including weekends
- 6:00pm - 6:00am
- £13.83 per hour; £15.01 per hour at weekends
Please note: You will work either permanent days or permanent nights, with flexibility required to work any 4 days from 7, including weekends.
We would like to hear from candidates who have:
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative, Packer, Production Operative or Manufacturing Operative
- A good understanding of spoken and written English
- The ability to stand and remain active throughout a 12-hour shift
- A positive and reliable approach to work
- Experience working shifts within manufacturing, production or logistics environments would be advantageous
